Women in this country make 80% of the health care decisions for their families. Moreover, women ages 35-55 manage not only their own health and the health of their families, but also the health of both sets of parents and both sets of grandparents. This subgroup of people has the largest impact on healthcare in the United States.

The sad reality is that while these women are managing the health and wellness of everyone else around them, they often neglect their own. In southwest Kansas, the situation is even more prevalent due to limitations with access to care and income-per-capita. The funds raised by the WEPAC Alliance go to pay for the cost of cancer-preventative and early-detective care for women in Wilmore Englewood, Protection, Ashland and Coldwater.

Up until the game, the best way to give is through a per point pledge for the first 30 points to be made by the local girls on both teams. Our goal is to receive pledges for a total of $1000 per point or more. That would mean that each time one of our local players hits a 3 point shot, $3000 goes to the cause. You commit the money per point in advance and if the local girls do not score a total of 30 points, we will refund you the difference.

The WEPAC Alliance needs your help! Join us as we join in the fight to prevent this deadly disease from spreading.
